This matter may more than likely has been addressed and hopefully been solved. If this is the case, would someone direct me to the post please.
My profile is set to password and administrator.
My User Account Control setting is set to "Never Notify". It is a while since I accessed this feature, and for the love ove me, I cannot understand how or why it was set to this. It sort of freaked me out a bit.
I have discovered if I reset the UAC back to default, I am unable to access my profile at all after booting. I am able to access and change this UAC setting back to "Never Notify" by logging onto my Admin profile account (I use to access for secuity adjustments etc), then log out reboot and access my profile once again.
So, how do I get around this to reset the UAC back to a default on my profile account, perhaps copy my profile to a dummy then delete my profile and rename dummy? Or access my registery and chamge something there?
Cheers
