Solved User Account Issues

Hello Folks,

I'm in Stockholm, Sweden living with a friend while I study. To repay her kindness I've been helping her with various things around the house. One of those things involves computers.

She has a Dell computer running Windows 7 Professional. She received this computer, which was originally destined for the Mexican embassy here in Stockholm, from a friend. The friend said that she would never be able to default her user account for start up. My ego and I agreed this was an oversight, and proceeded to 'delete' the Mexican account.

Now when I start up, it auto-defaults to the Mexican account, which isn't 'there.' When that fails, it kicks me back to the user log-in page. There it displays the Mexican account, or 'log in with another account' option. If I type in the name of the other users I left, I can log in, otherwise, I only see the Mexican account.

Once I log into the desktop, and log out, it shows the 'proper' result of her account, the one I credit for myself, and the guest account.

My question: how do I un**** this situation? And is it possible to truly 'delete' this Mexican account so this doesn't happen?

Hello Comrade,

Double check in netplwiz to see what account it may have selected to automatically log on to at startup. You may need to change this to the account she wants instead.
