It's worth inspecting that file with your text editor. Sometimes you can add your own entries if not included like cleanup for the new version of Teracopy as per this post:

If you are using Ccleaner or similar app that uses winapp2.ini you might want to add this for privacy:

Hmm think I might give up on this one Callender I just had to do a system restore yet again and it took just a ages for me to get back chrome and all sorts of stuff cos the last updates dated back to September last year and had to download all the flipping updates from then.

So mate I thank you for all the effort but I prefer a slower CC than all this trying to configure CC and Enhancer to work together

Sorry for all the time and trouble mate and I really do appreciate your patience but it doesn't end there either.

Just got back form three months in hospital and fired up my desktop with 10 on it and yep you guessed it it will not let me login - probably all those damn updates that have wrecked others machines so I am loathe to fire up the main laptop with 10 now

Don't know much about Windows 10. I only installed previews in a VM to play with it ages ago.

Anyway if you want to get an idea of what this winapp2.ini file does you could try Bleachbit Portable (no install) and test clean only as described in this post:

However it would be wise to wait until next time you have made a system image backup.
