utorrent connecting to peers!!!

Hi guys,

my problem started after i transferred apartment...

i cant seem to download any torrent files using utorrent app..

it always says "connecting to peers 0.0%"...


i have not encountered this since i have been using utorrent...

what id did was:


tried utorrent using the internet at my old apartment... torrent is downloading (nevermind the speed) from connecting to peers 0.0% to downloading 0.1% and so on...


but, trying the internet from my new apartment, damn, still not downloading..

guess this is Internet service related right?

was there any solution to this problem..??

i know there are a lot of threads regarding this but it seems there was no permanent fix.

Simple tip:

Do not use torrent software.

They are not safe, and cause more issues then they are worth. Just like registry cleaners or system "optimization" programs.

Typical things to check is the port is open on both the local firewall and forwarded to the computer in the router. uTorrent also as a built-in checker for those things, accessed by clicking the green check (or yellow warning) icon on the bottom right corner of the window.

Also possible, if using a different ISP, is that the new one applies blocking/throttling to torrent connections, which may hurt you. A possible mitigation can be to enable protocol encryption on the options.
