VAIO Laptop Battery EXTREMELY Fast Out

Hello everyone!

My VAIO Laptop Battery is running out at a ridiculous fast speed. When it's fully charged at 100% it runs out in 5-10 minutes while it says it will last 2 hours. I tried setting it on Energy saving or something. But it still runs out fast. Any help?

How old is the laptop?

Laptop batteries can die in as little as a year

But also, you may need to "recalibrate" your battery (and this also "cycles" it as well, something that should be done often)

I think the laptop is... 2-3 years old? LOL.

Well give the full steps for a recalibrate/cycle above a go it may help, but after that, if it doesn't improve then the battery is really a gonner

But after 2-3 years of heavy battery discharge/recharge you might very well need a new one.
