I currently have a vbscript to report various information on multiple Win 7 computer on the network. I need to modify the script to report the computer name and domain the computer is connected to. Where is computer name/domain stored? I have searched the Registry and found the Computer name but can't find the domain.

If the machine is a member of a Domain it should be located at > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Domain

If the value is empty or if \Domain isn't showing up then it is not a member of any domain.
If it is a member, the value equals the domain name.

I see the name at > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ComputerName\ComputerName
