Solved VDiskBus error on system startup

Hello,
I recently uninstalled Daemon Tools and when checking Event Viewer, started getting this error on startup now:

How do I truly remove the Virtual Drive? Or is this unrelated?

Download http://duplexsecure.com/download/SPTDinst-v179-x64.exe

Run the SPTD and click uninstall,finish,restart.

For virtual driver you can use MagicISO - Convert BIN to ISO, Create, Edit, Burn, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter/extractor/editor

Yes. I can only click to install.
This dialog does not pop-up on start-up. If I check "Event Viewer" it shows up in error reports. The time of error is the time of startup.

Reinstall Daemon tools,restart.

First check if you have any image mount and unmount it.

Uninstall daemon tools,go to C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite and use the uninst.

Restart,use the SPTD.

the above didnt work for me.
When in the last step and I use SPDT, i have only the option to install (like you before).
I dont know what to do, and dont know whats the relation between daemon tools and this error.

Firstly I am the creator of this thread and I welcome you to post whatever you please in here, so long as it is compliant with the site ToS and relevant to the topic. Your question was fair and relevant IMO... your second post not so much, but it is your first post I am referencing here. So here's the answer:

The issue was I uninstalled Daemon Tools while still having an image mounted on the virtual drive it provided. The result is, while Daemon uninstalled properly, the virtual drive it created did not. The VDiskBus error was coming up for me because Daemon tools did not fully uninstall the files associated with the virtual drive (drivers, etc.); as I'm sure you've experienced, you cannot delete files that are currently being used; the virtual drive was being used during uninstall hence why some files were not removed and hence the error.

Now this might not be the reason why this error is occurring for you, this is specific to having this error after uninstalling Daemon with an image still mounted. Ditto for any other program that does the same thing Daemon does. If this does not describe your situation however, it is doubtful the solution in here will be of help.

I am no expert so I would suggest you do post in your thread for any additional help regarding your problem.

Thanks for bolding all the important parts; there is no way I could decipher what is and isn't significant on my own.

All joking aside though thanks for the help, much appreciated. I had to RMA my PC for a mobo issue the day after applying your solution. I didn't receive it back for around 2 weeks in which time I forgot about this thread. Usually I am very savvy with keeping my threads up to date.

Once again, thanks for the solution; despite reformatting/RMAing my computer, it did work none the less.
