Solved Verifying TRIM is enabled

I wish to confirm that TRIM is enabled on my PC (W7 Pro 64 bit). ACHI is enabled. The consistent advice I've found so far is to enter the following @ the command prompt:

'fsutil behaviour query DisableDeletNotify'.

I get the response 'behaviour' is not a valid parameter. I've tried this several times with syntax variations but every time I just get the equivalent message 'xxx' is not a valid parameter'. So I've not been able to confirm TRIM status.

Has anyone a solution to this impasse?

Cracked it! Beware differences in UK vs US spelling, 'behavior' works, 'behaviour' does not.

Have you tried the Yank version of behavior?

fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

When I got my SSD the first time couple of months ago, I was curious of the same thing. I learned that the command only shows whether the feature is enabled or not, but doesn't check whether TRIM is performed.

The easy way for me to check it was to download and install SSDlife free. It will tell you in plain English if TRIM is enabled or not.
