Greetings!

I have an issue with my VIA HD audio. I only need to listen stereo music in 2.1 channels.
My datas:

Package version: 11.4.00.30
Codec Version: VT2021
Driver Version: 6.0.11.0400

I only be able to set 2 channels, 4 channels, 6 channels (obviously 5.1), and 8 channels.

I built an amplifier with 5 channel, and have an active subwoofer. But if i set my driver to 6 channel, sadly only stereo sound came out. But when i set to "Speaker fill", then like every channel play the same, so my sub doesn't have a lowpass filter built in. And also my rear speakers are playing in speaker fill. I only like to hear the music what i play in stereo with subwoofer on. But i don't know how could i possibly manage that.
Thank you for the help!

A 2.1 speaker system is only a "Stereo" system and the "Stereo Speakers" is set as the speaker type.

For a 5.1 system, you set the speaker type as 5.1. There are 3 connections to the PC sound and the 5.1.

However some sound, even with a 5.1 system is only stereo.

Firstly, thank you very much for your reply!

I am sorry, maybe i wrote something wrong. I know that there is different type of "stereo" systems.
My point is that i don't have a 2.1 speaker system, like many pc speakers, which are contains built in 3 channel amplifiers, and also in that contains a low-pass filter before the sub-amplifier, so in that was the simple stereo 2 channel can also works as 3 channel, 2 front, and one to the sub.
But i wanted to manage that maybe with software, to take a simple 2 channel (stereo), and split with a low-pass filter, and a high-pass filter to separate the sub frequencies, and the above of 70 Hz for example.

Because i don't have a low-pass filter in my subwoofer, to cut the middle frequency and above. I know also that if i switch to 5.1 in VIA HD audio, then it remains stereo, and only 6 channel sounds will playing all the channels, like DTS movies, and etc...

The PC sound system is setup for specific "computer" sound systems. If you are using a non-computer sound system then its up to that sound system to be able to separate the sound. The PC can't do that. Is this the question?

Well, i built a 5 channel amplifier, and i have an active subwoofer without low-pass filter. This is not a typical "computer" sound system, but not that different! I have also an external USB Creative SB sound card, which downmix and cut off the subwoofer frequency from all the 5 channels, even if it's only just stereo, also it has a crossover frequency slider, but it is now broken physically. So i had to use the Motherboard's integrated VIA 7.1 HD soundchipset, and the VIA Envy HD audio Deck is unable to reproduce the same thing. I thought there are some plugin, or codec, or some little software which can get a sample from all satellite line output, and downmix the low frequencies. But as i see in your answer, there is no solution for this problem.
