Someone gave me this thread. I've had NOTHING but problems with Asus. Tons of wasted hours, etc.

My board isn't Gigabyte, it's Asus. They got the front audio ports working the first time it happened, then after I replaced the MB b/c of other audio issues, I lost hour upon hour after friends tried to help & so did Asus. They are trying to blame it on the case, but the case is connected to the audio ports based on what someone (not a geek) told me.

The driver is Via. I tried to go to that Via thread in this thread & it's dead & it looks like the site is dead :(

The front ports don't even work when the speaker is plugged in, it's not just a problem with the headset.

Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
