Video playback colour problems.

Hello, I recently purchased a new Windows 7 computer and I have been having trouble with video playback. Specificly, the colour. When I play a video in Windows Media Player, QuickTime player, RealPlayer or any other media player the video is played in a blueish tint, and multiple artifacts sometimes present themselves. This problem also occours on web players such as YouTube, but only when on fullscreen mode. Does anybody think they could help resolve this issue?

Install the new nvidia software\driver,restart.

During test\stress monitor your GPU temperatures. If you see artifacts, or the temperature of your GPU exceeds 80C, stop the test.


I also noticed this in your specs,Memory 4GB (3.73GB Accessible) .


What exactly do you mean Accessible?


Windows 7 Home Premium x64 supports up to 16 GB of RAM.


So,"normally" all your ram must be accessible.

Thanks I will try that Sorry, I ment to put usable rarther than accessible, and as for the reason why, Im not sure. Apparntly 0.27 GB of my RAM is unusable.

Maybe is "shared" though follow these steps.


On start\search copy paste this msconfig and press enter.


Click on Boot\Advanced options and check if you have set any memory limits.

Yes,that's why in my above post i write this, "Maybe is "shared" though follow these steps.

Start/search/ and type in resmon and tic memory and it will show you how Windows is seeing and using your ram.
