Hope someone can help. I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 850MGz 512 ram and ever since upgrading to 7 from XP videos playback is pixelated, stutters and skips. I use VLC mainly but WMP does it too (even more so), i have to go a small screen for it to work at all and even then it usually still does it. My PC is on the low end of 7's requirements i know but i never had this problem with XP or with Ubuntu which i have dual-booted. I have tried everything i know, turning off all unnecessary processes and still the video sucks. All drivers are updated. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to seven forums!
Seeing your system (850 mhz, 512 mem), im going to say that you didn't fill the requirements for windows 7. The cpu is too low (1 gighz processor) and windows 7 usually uses around 600 mb of memory at idle on a clean install...
My suggestion for your specific computer would be to update your graphic drivers.
If that doesn't work, just use xp or ubuntu.
Sorry =(
