Virus, Windows update, user profile and now Genuine Windows problem

A sorry story - I went to download a copy of Opera, and must have gone to a non-genuine site because all of a sudden I got a host of pop-ups, inc one telling me about a wonderful "Optimiser" product. Had a go at cleaning the virus and then performed a windows update that had come along.
Next boot i have lost my user profile..

Long story short, I think I have cleaned the virus, fixed the user profile issue, but now am lost in the non-genuine Windows nightmare. Diagnostic report below.

I have attempted the commands provided elsewhere regarding sppsvc, which were successful. But I can't activate Windows because I can't get an activate link.

If I type "SLUI 4" into the run command it fails with a message 0x80070005 "Access is denied".

If it gives you a access denied message while trying to activate windows; you may very well need to change the permissions for your user name in order for you to have access to it as windows 7 has quirks about having access to certain items even if your user name is a administrator. As for the non genuine windows thing; I strongly advise you in the future to never go to a non genuine site for any free browser. Always type the url directly into the address bar of the browser you use as that way you will encounter less issues. To get rid of the non genuine opera copy. I would download and install revo uninstaller from the link below and that should help to get rid of any registry entries in windows as well as the program folder:

download, install, and run the uninstaller from the above link then do a google search for opera browser. Thats your best bet at this point.

Hint, hint.
Microsoft likes I.E. used for such things as SLUI 4. I use various browsers but I keep I.E. as my default browser. Now I can't prove this but it does seem to help me with Microsoft matters.
