VSS error

While my PARAGON backup is running I get the following info;

Vss Techology has failed to start with error0x11112 (vss specific error).

This happens twice and then the program shifts to Hot Processing.

What does this mean and can I do anything about it? I understand that VSS is better than "hot processing".

Blockie, hit start and search for services.msc.
Scroll down to Volume Shadow Copy and start the service.
If you want, right click and go to properties and set start to automatic.
