Yes welcome all of you.
Sadly I don't think I'll be hanging around much longer.
I'm dual booting with Vista SP 1 on the same drive. Vista is fine but Windows 7 can't see my router at all. So I can't get online at all from 7 and can't try it out properly
I've had loads of help from SIW2 on thread Dual boot original Vista with Windows 7?.
I've devoted hours and hours to this and it just won't work. SIW2 has been tremendously patient and helpful but I suspect he's running out of ideas and I'm losing the will to live.
I think I might be looking for instructions on deleting it and giving up soon. I'm just fed up and frustrated and this is a real pity as the system looks great.
Oh well, why me?, John:(

Hi John,

I have been looking around the BT website and apparently as you already know this Router should work out of the box, so much so that they do not offer any drivers at all for it
They do however have an automated software that might do the trick, See here; BT Broadband Desktop Help

If it will work with Windows 7?? I dont know, it wont download for me  You will have to download it under Vista, copy to Windows 7 and run in compatability mode for Vista.

Maybe you are lucky and it will do the job I hope so :)

Hey Johnwillyums,

If your using USB then its a good idea to use the Ethernet port ;) If your already using Ethernet then its a similar problem I had on Vista, you will need the proper NIC drivers for your motherboard ;)
