I have a small home business and family that access the internet. I was simply trying connect couple of new (to the network) laptops my home internet when homegroup setup processes came up so I set up names/passwords and now the entire wifi network cannot get on the network. It even changed available network names on wifi. Been working with home PC's for years and have never been totally confused like I am now. Help Please

Setting up a Homegroup can't really effect the wireless connection as you are describing.

Try removing the old wireless credential and creating a new one. Just go to the Network and Sharing Center then look to the left for "Manage Wireless Connections".

Problem Fixed

Whew! I did the "leave homegroup" process on all PC's that I wanted to be able to access the internet and the printer, then reset the wireless router, switched to WEP on router accepting that the security was lower. All laptops can now access the internet and print to the networked printer:D
