Well, I have this problem: After installing 64bit 186.03 (tried 185 too) NVIDIA drivers for notebooks (I have geforce 9200m gs) and restarting, windows just won't boot up. The screen goes black and then reboots without even showing the "welcome screen". I've tried this with 7100 and RTM builds (Didn't have any problems with xp though)
I hope anyone knows how to fix this b.s :(

Have you tried F8 during boot and choosing last known good configuration?

(start pressing F8 a few times right after the bios screen goes away)

Yeah, but then the drivers get removed, so it's not a solution :(

Of course that's the solution,

Those drivers are the problem.

when system boots again you have to find an older version that works.

Or keep enjoying a black screen. :D

Try out the vista drivers from the Manufacturers website. My windows XP drivers work for my sound card just fine. if that dosen't work. wait for nvidias next release for drivers. then try them out.

Actually the solution is "remove the bad drivers". So that is the solution, if you do not like that method, then try SAFE MODE. remove the bad video drivers, and when you reboot in normal mode, Win7 will install DEFAULT (WDDM) drivers.
