Has anyone else had the issue where when your wallpaper changes to the next in the rotation your whole system lags for a second.

The only way to get around this is to set one and only one wallpaper which works but isn't really optimal -_-

My system should have no issues with wallpaper rotation but just seems to lag for me which is weird, happened in the beta too but I thought it was just a beta issue :S

Any help is appreciated

How big are your pictures? If you resize the resolution to match your desktop resolution that might help. If you try to use a huge multi-megapixel photo as your desktop background it will take a few seconds to load.

All images used are already the same resolution as my desktop

Im wondering if it has to do with the cool n quiet feature on my cpu, having to go back to full oc when changing desktop and then changing down again, although I didnt think it would make a difference
