Want to get into overclocking, don't know where to start.

The lack of activity in this thread is why I recommend asking for help on Overclock.net.

The reason I've been absent is I've been working on a massive Spring cleaning project that I'm almost done with. I'm finally at a point now where I'm mostly doing laundry (I saved the easiest labor for last).

This thread is not active because the OP posted that he updated the BIOS a week ago, and didn't follow up with anything. I have instant notifications on and would have helped if there was anything new to work on.....some of us here happen to know how to overclock as well.

I did not say that no one here knows how. I'm saying that there's a much larger amount of people on Overclock.net who do. So, I think that he'd be long done by now.

Sorry guys, I have been busy recently. Now i'm ready to overclock my computer. Just for a short recap, my bios is fully updated, and set to the default settings. What is the next step?

I am not busy anymore and i am ready to start overclocking my computer. I will be sending the people involved a private message if they want to re continue this thread and help me overclock my machine.

I have not changed anything with my computer other than install a few programs and wipe some harddrives.

I will be able to respond today and i will not be able to access my computer from August 10-13, but i can still respond to this website.
