Solved Want to get rid of Windows Boot Manager

I had Vista on my computer originally. I installed Windows 7 recently and now I get the Windows Boot Manager. My choices in the Boot Manager are either Windows 7 or Vista. If I choose the Vista option it will still bring me to Windows 7. Is there a way I can get rid of this? In Disk Managment it shows that I only have one partition.

You can use the tutorial below to remove the Vista entry in Windows Boot Manager through msconfig.

Shawn, I have to say this once. You are absolutely amazing. I just wanted to post my little knowledge regarding the problem, and oops, there is another tut you have already handy. There is really little left to do for us plain folks.

I understand the idea - and it is a good one. But sometimes I ask myself from where you take the time to do all that - besides the required insight. This is, indeed, most amazing.
I am just developing a new 2 hour class for the people in my computer club and I know how much effort has to go into a well structured instruction. Just fighting with Word to get everything well aligned (because I use a lot of pictures in my on-line hand-outs) is a challenge by itself.
