Solved Want to replace RAM modules

Max bandwidth exceeds listed bandwidth in CPU-Z, although I did not overclock or save the Bios/Easytuner settings. Only set to manual to show DDR voltage. Is the config. stable, I mean voltage and such stuff?

Using the defaults is always the safest bet although that doesn't mean that the parts won't fail. Technically you can overclock safely as long as you do so in moderation which might not actually result in much of a performance increase. Those that really gain the most from overclocking do so by really pushing their system and use an advanced heat distribution system such as water cooling. Some would argue that those have the best chance at having their system fail early but those are also the ones that would replace parts after only a couple of years if that.

Apparently these factory tested HyperX Furies overclock themselves by default, no BIOS tweaks (I did not know that BTW, at first). I didn't tinker at all with them. My only thought is that they will last long (I hope!) as they both have heatsinks, and I have upgraded the board that has better capacity of handling 1866 RAM modules and higher end processors etc. etc. Hope my learning curve doesn't punish me
