Solved whats better? 2xR16 or 2xR8 ram modules

as in the title really , bought 2 x 1gb sticks of laptop ram pc5300s , they were supposed to be 2xR16 , but i got 1 2xR16 and 1 2xR8 , any experts tell me which 1 of the 2 is the best so i can get another to match and sell the not so good 1.. cheers ( mods- feel free to move this to the relevant section if needed )

I believe it should be 2Rx16 and 2Rx8. They would both be a dual rank memory module but one is built with 16 bit chips and the other 8 bit. You would want both 16-bit.
