For those owning an Acer Aspire Timeline Series...The New Acer Bios from Apr 06,2010 v1.34 screw-up the Intel GMA 4500M HD by reducing the battery life by half, because a box is grayed in the GMA Control Panel.
Acer had provided a second new v1.34 Bios on Apr 07,2010 to correct the wrong settings in the Intel GMA 4500M HD.
As usual be carefull when updating your bios settings.
Find on the screenshot how the settings should be, to improve the battery life. (before the box was grayed & unchecked):
