WASAPI is not working for Win7 "Speakers High Definition Audio Device

Dear all,

“wasapi” only works in the PC (windows 7) having playback devices like
”Speakers (SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio)" and
“Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)”

it doesn’t works , for the below playback devices.
"Speakers (3- High Definition Audio Device)”
and
“Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)”
For all the above cases it is giving following error.

D:\wasapi>coreaudio_wavfile_playback.exe --file "D:\\wasapi\Anode.wav"
Opening .wav file "D:\\wasapi\Anode.wav"...
Wave format in file is smaller than a WAVEFORMATEX; will zero-pad the last 2 bytes.
The default period for this device is 30000 hundred-nanoseconds, or 132 frames.
IAudioClient::Initialize failed: hr = 0x88890008
Thread returned failing HRESULT 0x88890008

We are looking forward for your support for the following …..
How to make wasapi working for all playback devices of windows 7 PC’s? Is it any installation and setup required in PC for this to work?
Is there any generic driver can be installed in Windows 7 PC to support wasapi?
How to check wasapi compatible playback devices in windows7?can we change playback devices if not wasapi supported?

The default Windows installed "HD Audio Codec" is only a basic function sound driver and does not offer all the features that regular (e.g. Realtek) drivers do.

The preferred sound driver for a PC is either the PC Vendor's sound driver or in the case of a custom built system, the motherboard vendor's drivers.

Thanks for the reply,my problem got resolved.

wasapi is working fine now after i installed Realtek audio driver in
other PC (had default High definition audio before).
