WD drive showing H is unaccessible

Hi!
I have a WD My Passport 1TB which I bought two months ago. Just a week ago, i wrnt inot security and chnaged something that i am unaware of , now it is showing me a message a saying, “G:/ is not accessible. can anyone help me out with this

Welcome to the forum. It would help if we new what you have done I am guessing you set no rights via security. Can you see files folders?

Hi TKg,

Try System Restore to a date before you made changes in the permissions and it should restore the old permissions that existed.

Try to connect on other PC, see whether it works or not!, IF YES, then ur COMPUTER PROBLEMS, IF NOT..........then it is ur H/W problems, then i think since it was NOT accessible.. it is time to CHANGE NEW H/W.. thats all........

OR

TRY installing LINUX based OS, connect it... see whether can BOOT or not!, IF YES, i think u should know what-to-do NEXT, right? adious goodluck!
