HI, I would like to camera use for my use my laptop web cam as a survaliance camera for my home is this possible? all I will be surveying is what my new dog gets up to when he is left on his own. I don't want him upsetting the neighbours.

Hi sorry for the late response
That's a very rare trait in a person so concerned about your neighbors peaceful surroundings
Best I can say is take your dog to obedience school
Never leave your dog outside when your not there,
Put him/ her in a travel cage when your gone or in a bathroom laundry room,

I doubt a webcam would be a good idea considering the machine would need to be on and openly accessible to burglars
Look into a real security setup if you want to monitor your home many are available
