webcam stopped working?

I am HP Mini 110-3098, netbook,
and found out webcam did not work when I opened Skype.

I posted thread on HP support Forum for a while ago,
but i have not heard any.

Hello.

There might just be something wrong with your webcam.
First off, be sure to have the latest drivers installed, then try it on the software provided together with the driver (some webcam models are known to be conflicting with Skype, just a thought).

If nothing here helps, I'm afraid there's something wrong with the webcam itself or the cables connecting it with the mobo.

It's Arcsoft Webcam Companion3.
how do i check driver?

I checked out Arcsoft website. The latest one is Webcam Companion4.

Try reinstalling the webcam by using only the driver that came with it. It's usually found on a cd.

this webcam is installed in HP Mini netbook from factory...
i do not have CD.
