Hi
I'm having problems with my browsers. I use Google Chrome but I'm also having the same issue when I use Firefox. Websites are saying I need to enable my cookies but they are enabled I've checked over and over again. This is what I've tried so far
I've cleared all my cookies and Cache, reset my browser to default, turned off all addons, uninstalled chrome cleaned registry and reinstalled chrome, run malwarebytes and run sfc /scannow and checked my Date and Time. I'm out of ideas but still having the same problem. Any ideas????

This is a slightly modified quote of my post in the other thread you resurrected, I'll be asking one of the Mods if they would clean it up so you may not see it, but you've probably have seen the email notification and wondered where the heck did that one go.

Hi warlock72, welcome to 7F! :)

I would suggest that you only try this if you will be using the site you're trying to visit on a regular basis. Otherwise it'll drive you nuts to do this just to check a site unless of course you really want to. It does sound like you have a worse problem than I do but this is what I had to do for FF, Chrome should have something similar.

Go to Tools >Options >Privacy & Security, then scroll to History and click on Exceptions. Then only use the base address of the url you need to visit,

  • For example the page you're on to read my reply is:

  • https://www.sevenforums.com/browsers-mail/413250-websites-saying-cookies-disabled-when-they-are-enabled.html:

  • So only use the: https://www.sevenforums.com part to enter into the 'address of website' box on the exceptions window, then click on allow and save changes.
I don't know why FF is like this; Is it the browser or the site's fault? I don't know. I have no problems anywhere else on the web except when I visit this one site once a year and I have to make the exception every year. I believe its 50/50 the browser because it updates its security frequently and the site not as much.

If you're curious look for My browser won't accept persistent cookies (duckduckgo search) and look for solutions other than what you have tried, I've tried those and others and still haven't found an answer, heck, the FF forums are still pushing everything you've tried and it doesn't work.

There's one thing about some persistent cookies, their persistent in not working. :p
   Note
Proper netiquette is; It's okay to resurrect a thread but, start a new thread and only link to it for added insight don't add to it because every situation is slightly different.
