Solved WEI Question

Hey guys,

I went into my system properties to get into something today, but when i did it prompted that i needed to re-rn the assesment. I did so and my graphics score went from a 7.4 down to a 6.9. Would this be caused from me running display fusion on my system to allow me to do certain things with dual displays on my system that windows just doesn't have outta the box? If anyone has a idea why the score would drop please let me know.

What happens if you exit display fusion? I don't know what display fusion is, but it could be taking resources that WEI needs to make an assessment.

It is quite possible. Also, people have reported lower graphics scores after installing newer drivers. A Guy

I just recently updated my graphics drivers and re ran the assessment and it didn't do anything to my score. Although i closed out display fusion and shut down the display fusion service and then re ran the assessment and it went back up to a 7.4 for both of the graphic scores. Display fusion is a program that allows you to run two different wallpapers on a dual monitor setup, also allows for two different screen savers and a bunch of other features. If you know of a better program that won't affect my score please let me know and i'll give it a try.

I don't think it has much effect on your performance. It just affects the way WEI assesses the GPU. WEI is a questionable benchmark, so run the assessment with display fusion off, that is your WEI. Now turn display fusion back on and enjoy it's benefits
