Weird 1014 Event ID errors

A little while a go i started getting random 1014 event id errors like this:

Name resolution for the name "random website" timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

This is not happening while i'm surfing the web and today it happened just right after i turned on the computer.

I tried visiting some of the websites and most of them just comes up with a web hosting page and says "Account suspended" or don't exist. I doubt this is malware because i have tried reinstalling. It might be malware though. Some of the errors with the same website comes up again like 100 times or it could be an hour to some minutes or never. I am starting to wonder if someone is trying to hack my computer. Has someone else experienced this? And did you fix the problem?

Try switching to OpenDNS server addresses to see if the problem goes away.

I had many more of those errors from random websites I've never visited. Its not malware, for I have checked with 6 different trusted anti-viruses. Its not causing an error, but its an annoyance to see in event viewer (Same thing as the event ID 11 - Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications.)

I have tried Bill2's suggestion and am now using openDNS, but the error still comes up after clearing the event log; anywhere from a few minutes, to a few hours later.

Any other suggestions?
