Hi SevenForums!

I have a problem with my laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise x64. After I turn on my laptop, Windows loads up fine and everything appears to be working, the desktop loads just fine and all applications start up. Normally, Windows works just fine for a couple of minutes, then something weird happens. If I press anything on the taskbar, it will start freezing and it will never resume again, if I even try to press Ctrl+Alt+Del I will get a message saying that it could not load up the application or something of the likes. I cannot launch any applications after the taskbar freezes, even when I try to launch via desktop icons. Any active running applications will start to freeze during this period as well. Now the weird thing is, this doesn't always happen, I can be lucky and not experience this, I would say it happens after around 2/3 of all startups. This is very annoying especially considering I use this laptop for school work. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this? Oh, and this doesn't happen when I am running in Safe Mode. Thanks in advance.

Yeh I had similar issues a long while ago on a mate's laptop... If it works in Safe Mode maybe it's a problem with a certain app or service that's running.
Run 'msconfig' and check the Services & Startup options and maybe disable items one by one until the offending program is identified. Ensure you are using 64 bit apps & drivers. Just a suggestion :)
