But never will i buy a branded PC.

Last pre-built I had was an old P166 that someone gave me (also the first computer I had). Didn't stay that way too long as a guy I was working with at the time had bought a new computer and gave me his P233, which I then took and mixed and matched into one (surprisingly the P166 had the better motherboard). From then on nothing but built by me.

P.S. Laptop users really shouldn't be voting as you have no choice with a laptop, you can't build them yourself. Well you could, but the cost would be so prohibitive as to make it very impracticable.

my main desktop box is a custom build (see specs)- i love building pcs! (just wish i had more money - i wanna i7!)

one other custom machine, built around five years ago, and a couple of old emachines that were given to me that i muck around with.

one dell laptop (sadly with dead screen )

At least for those like modding in a certain manner...+ add function to be integrated as a bluetooth module built-in (got a jumper ready on my laptop, just had to wired the module)...

Some even add backlit keyboard....cpu upgrade, change display....

Ha, forgot..now SSD drive are around, manies swapping for them....
