For 1 them bench tests are deceiving- Look at the low aa af- the 470 has more memory more shaders and more high bus speeds and in games where you have tessellation the more the better- and if you go upping af aa over 16x or 4x in the tests- the 470 480 and 570 and 580 is the better cards- the 5 cards use less power run less hot. The 560ti is not a bad card- the 470 80 and 57 58 are better. The 560ti is a good mid road card- the 47 48 are still fine cards they do run more hot. If my money I would get a 570. The ti has more texture units- I would bet money push settings over the 16x 4x the 470 would smoke the ti.
Coolers well V8's and such are huge and stress on the mobo- coolers with more than 1 fan cool lil more than coolers with 1 fan. I am afraid of wet cooling period. Here are 2 coolers under 30 bucks and you could push your over clock as high as you can go on air. I like the corsair a lil better but the instructions are poor. With some cases you can install either cooler with the mobo mounted to the tray- if the back of the tray has a hole cut in it- but even then the corners etc of the back plate bracket can make it impossible- its best to install the back plate what ever before you mount the mobo to the tray.
Both of these coolers are great and under 30 bucks- the corsair can push my cpu up around 4.2- from 2.66 is not bad and on air too.. I have the corsair- and looking at instructions I think it is more easy to install. Cooler master may have did a better job with instructions tho- the corsair left out half the instructions for half the parts in the box and on its site same thing- tho instructions at corsairs site is more than in the box they are still not complete or not a month or so ago anyway.. You can shop around to find best prices etc.>
* For top down types and if will work with your mobo- I think the thermalright si128's are sweet- it would not work with my p55 tho- and they are like 50 bucks if you can still find them. It is another si128se with more holes cut into it and cools better than the original if you use a fan- the se is the silent ed- but can use a fan if you like.. At idle and low fan speeds and using ac mx2 my cpu temps easy run 2 to 8f or more cooler than system or ambient temps in my case- the/my tr si128 or corsair a50 coolers and ac mx2 are excellent. Folks may argue but tests show top downs generally cool better than tower types- maybe because they blow air over parts of the mobo or chip sets or memory- but they generally cool 2 to 4f better than a near same tower type- ac mx2 cools like 4f better than silver5 and mx2 does not transfer currents etc and lasts 8 years and no cure time. AC mx2 is way more safe- s5 lasts 2 or so years then becomes brittle and has a 200 hour cure time and does not cool as well- get sloppy with s5 you can ruin a mobo or vid card fast- not so with mx2 etc. mx3 is even better- gelid 2 or 3 is about the same as ac products- Ac cools a lil better in most test but the gelid cost less and more product in the packages too- or normally.. Research such things for your selves..>

For my p55 install I used 2 rubber bans to hold the back plate bracket in place then mounted the mobo to my tray- leave the plastic isolator on the back plate and add the 4 carbon fiber washers 1 each post- then through the mobo- attach the top mount plate the the cooler block etc from the under side- Do not over tighten when you mount the cooler- Also thermal paste can give ya 4 to 12f cooler than some pastes- ac mx2 or 3 is better than ac silver 5- better in many ways- you folks can read that tho.. Instructions are not the same for the amd mounts- the amd mounts are more easy I think.
I prefer top down coolers that blow air over parts of the mobo etc- but if using any tower type cooler- you also need to figure out if your case can take it- like if it has fans on the side panel- The tower coolers might not like the fan on the side panel and is in the way- You could move fans to the outside of the panel or get another case or cooler maybe.. Some coolers weigh near 2x some and do not cool as good or maybe just a lil better- Things to think about. Wet cooling stuff can cause more probs- and you certainly have to replace it more often than air coolers- with air you might have to replace a fan every so often.. Thats just me tho..
If buying a nv card buy evga or sparkle- evga check and see if it has a life time or not- not all evgas have life time all sparkles do have life time- and get a card with a good cooler that blows the hot air out of the case or have a oven- a confection oven at that..
Hope it helps some- The ti is nice but for same money the 470 is better- push game settings more high than in the tests you would see that.. Many high end cards do not perform as well as many would think at lower game settings- that is the nature of the gaming beast- and most folks know bench tests can be fudged to favor what ever is wanted like ati over nv etc- it has been done forever. Folks worried about heat and are so so gamers the ti is plenty fine- the 580 walks tho.. Wish I had cash for 1- but would settle for a 470 480 or 570 if my money- if give to me anything better than what I have is good , so..
