Yes, it does. When I wake it up, I can hear the DVD player make a noise. Is that a problem?

Nah it is easy started when ever you need it

Okay. I rarely use it. I think the desktop does the same thing. It makes a noise when waking it or turning it on. It may be an Acer feature.

When you hear the noise go to my Computer and you will see a red X on the DVD Player ...

What Security Programs are you using apart from Panda and Spybot ? ....

Okay so I can keep this in my 3 brain cells correctly; is this the same computer that was in your thread that was 857 post long.

If so could you let us know exactly what was done to repair your computer.
Surely it was more that just set the system back to factory default.
Did they send you any paper work that indicates what they repaired?
Did they email you any information on what was repaired?

Maxie, I am using Malwarebytes, Panda, and Panda Cloud Cleaner on the Win 7 Laptop. Not using Spybot.

Layback Bear, all they did was soft load the hard drive. It seems to be doing better. But, they removed my power button from the lock screen/login screen. I don't know how to get it back. That made me mad.

If you did not Install the Program... It must have sneaked in with some other Program ..

I did install Spybot. But, someone told me to use Malwarebytes. So, I removed Spybot and installed Malwarebytes to replace it. Why is it still showing up? How do I remove it?

Traces of it are still there ... If you wish to Remove it Revo should work ...
