I'm used to that people think I'm a woman, with a name like this. In Finland it's a popular male name, but native English and German speakers associate it to be a female name.

I get constantly those letters and offers "Dear Ms. (or Mrs.) Kari P., you might have won a super price" etc...

Some cases are difficult. I have been trying to contact different companies, requesting they change my gender in their customer records, but mostly it doesn't work. A good example:

Why Unbelievable? I was actually sure we only had 5 female members who posted regularly, Corrine, Jan, Pebbly, Joan and Jacee. Possibly there are more, but I don't really pay gender much thought on here.

Yes, and it can be deep fried in a kettle of boiling grease. Yum! You can just sprinkle it with powdered sugar and a touch of cinnamon.
