What Happened to my Realtek Sound Manager ??

I just installed the latest R2.40 drivers and now i dont have no realtek sound manager, i kinda need it since i wana set ma front and back panel audio to stream the same audio at once, because having to set and switch between the 2 wen i wana use either is rather annoying:sarc:

Try downloading the manager here.

I don't know why that happened, I will be interested in finding out.

Forgive me if you already know this, but installation is a two step process.

1. Run the installer to remove the old version. Reboot.
2. Run the installer to install the new version. Reboot.

If you didn't do step 2, then you won't have anything installed. It would be nice if step 2 happened automatically.

looking for a reply

i would like to state i did the 2 steps several times with no success i have also post in the main realtek area with no response

d/l the new drivers 6.0.1.6013

i get the windows start sound when i reboot

but i get no sound from the speaker configuration test

i get no sound from i tunes and or from xm on line

or from the cd

i am looking for answers but cannot find any

any direction for me to look would be great
