What is this feature called and how do I use it? [Video]

At 1:28 the host of the product review demonstrates a feature he calls it "a macro view of all the apps you have open."

How do I do this?

A macro is a series of programming commands that are saved as an applet, which can then be called by using a hot key combination assigned to it.

I would imagine its main purpose with your particular touch mouse is to create gaming macros that can then be checked using the macro view function.

Obviously, you'll need to create a macro first to be able to use macro view.

In the video, the tutor explains how you can open three separate windows, which I would imagine is done by a macro written for this purpose. As I understand it, you invoke the macro view command by using three fingers to roll across the touch mouse to open the windows in macro view i.e. in view at the same time

Thank you for the input, but I'm not understanding what you posted.

All I want is to show all the open windows/applications on my screen at once. Just like what Is shown on the desktop screen at 1:28 - 1:33.

Just use three fingers to lightly touch the mouse and run them up and down the surface of the mouse to view multiple windows in macro view or hide the windows and view the desktop.

I should have already told you that I'm not using the Microsoft Touch Mouse. My bad.

Is this feature only available to those with the Touch Mouse?

A close review of the video reveals that he says " a review of all three applications which are open ". He is not opening three windows, he is just viewing the windows he has already opened.

W7 does this trick using Aero Flip 3D Use windows key/Tab to view them. Their is a freeware program which will
make the windows show flat on the screen but I do not have the address, sorry.

Aero Flip 3D shows all open windows stacked, like a deck of cards, the macro display (in the vid) open windows are arrayed in rows of smaller windows.

You can snap with WIN+left arrow or WIN+right arrow

You can also just push one button on the keyboard to see everything that is open. Two over from the right side of space bar.
