What paint to get

What kind of spray paints am I looking for? I need to spray my PC side panel which is a metal one... Can someone please advise me on how to do this without chipping...

I think the best to prepare the metal side panel is to degrease with alcohol first, sand paper it lightly to break the previous coated material and then use a universal grey spray undercoat in a thin layer.

After you can use any Acryl spray cans color (dry faster) for the finish but you'll have mostly to coat it with clear Acryl varnish mate, semi-mate or glossy depends what you like.

Or use more of industrial spray can paint that generally include a varnish, but that will take longer to dry up and the risk higher to drip the paint and dust to paste on it.

You need automotive grade paint if you're painting steel.
