I have a Video clip on my Desktop that I want to save to a DVD RW disk.
What s/w should I select that will do the job?
In the past I have always used Real Player, but the latest version has been
castrated.

Hi warp4dennis,

Have you tried Windows DVD Maker that is built into Windows 7 itself?

I hope this helps!

Yes, I did try 'Windows DVD Maker'. Unfortunately this Windows s/w does not recognize
MP4 video files!

Windows Movie Maker - part of Windows Essentials - is great software, if you can find it. It has been discontinued by Microsoft. I use it for editing videos I record on my iPhone or camera, and then write the final product to DVD.

If you find it, be careful where you download it from, because it is no longer available from Microsoft.

If you want to extract the contents of a DVD, you can use Handbrake. However, I'm not sure if Handbrake will write the final product to a DVD, because I've never used it for that purpose.
