What should i do with my partitions

Hi, i initially had windows vista in C: installed. Then i installed windows 7 in H:
Im using dual boot.

Now i want to move to win 7, but the H: has only 25 gb. C: has 115 gb.

I want to remove vista and increase the H: size to 80 gb.

What should i do, and what software use. Also i heard i might have boot problems coz the boot files are in c:

yes there is the boot file complication. Its do-able. You cant do it with the built in HD mangement system. You need an app like parigon disk suite, or partition wizard home edition (my favorite). You are also going to have to do some boot loader editing using an app lik bcdedit. there is instruciotsn for its use here. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2676-bcdedit-how-use.html?ltr=B

If you take ownership of the entire partition Windows Vista is on you can delete the Windows folder, Program Files, whatever you want to free up some space. Just don't delete anything you actually need.

He wouldn't be able to gain that space though as it would be on the wrong side of his Windows 7 install so he wouldn't be able to get it back without using 3rd party tools to rearrange his drive.
Those are my thoughts although I could be wrong

That's true and Ziggy mentioned some good third party applications to do that.

Maybe its better just to install windows 7 over vista in C:, and format de H: partition

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you format the Vista partition, you could then use the "Extend Volume" option in the Disk Management utility to re-allocate that space to your H: partition.
