I subscribe to two account levels. DOCSIS 3 based 105/15mbit 'Ultra' tier for the medical office that my wife practices out of, and DOCSIS 2 based 30/5mbit 'Boost' tier for home.

I was having problems running Flash on my office setup so I used a Java based speed test at DSLReports...

Below: 30/5mbit Boost Tier (fluctuates in downstream between 20 and 30mbps)

Below: 115mbps/15mbps Docsis 3.0 tier, almost no fluctuation in speed.

Here's mine on a 8MB connection. Not as fast as some I've seen, but I'm pleased with it. Also, not sure if it matters, but this was tested on my wireless connection.

I'm on a 2 bar WiFi Signal. Wonder how different those results would be on a wired/5 bar signal.

Yes Ping is very important with games, I learned that with Halo 3.

Yeah, you being on WiFi may be the difference in speed. I'm connected directly to my modem, no router in between.
