You have 50 Meg BroadBand by Virgin Media..? If you do then you should not be running 2 Meg and it isn't ADSL either its Fibre Optic cable so can't understand where you got your stats from...?

I may be wrong in reading your post but the way you have writen it it sounds like your saying you have DSL on Virgin and 2 Meg on a 50 Meg connection.

sorry i should of been more clear... because i am originally from cyprus i have a house in cyprus and england.. in my house where i currrently am in cyprus i have a 2mbit adsl line (non cabled area)... back in england i have a 50mbit cable fiber optic line which used to be 20mbit before they offerd the upgrade to 50mbit and new routers with the 50mbit ntl area which is now virgin media

lucky.. i remember the cap they had on the 20mbit i kept going over it every day dropping to a 5mbit

I cannot get the test to work right now - so here is an older one.

Comcast gives me similar results from Atlanta to Gainesville, GA. Ping time is only 10ms.

I thought I would also add an old speed which was when I first got my 50 Meg so it needed to settle before it dropped to 46 Meg
