your on virgin medias 50mbit arent you..

what router do they give you for that? a belkin?

i like also hwo the 50mbit is the only connection that has no download caps the 10 and 20 have download limits .. i hope to upgrade to the 50mbit soon maybe in the summer

On my 8 Mbps connection. 'Advertised' as 16 Mbps. Comcast told me that's what it toggles to and then w/powerboost to goes higher. I get about 2 - 2.5 Mbps on my downloading files which is OK. Hoping that DOCSIS 3.0 comes to my area so I can get their 50 Mbps package. YEA!

15 is not *too* far off from 20, I'd ask them specific questions such as line quality and such coming to your house - unless you have some issues you should be getting 18 or better if they offer 20.

Getting 4 Mbits is not good. I'd *really* be calling them and blowing up their switchboard / PBX at that point.
