I am curious about the affect of assigning negative rep. I would not want to unduly spank someone with my max rep power just for being a one-time dweeb. I have neg rep'd someone (who was banned shortly thereafter) and 3 or 4 other members also neg rep'd him. His rep was -129 when banned. I am just curious if the full rep power is applied on a neg rep.

No it isn't...me and zigzag neg repped a person and they didn't have -150 rep...me and him rep the max

How many decimal places does it go out to?

I want to rep a few guys, but I can't, because it says I have to "spread rep around" first.

I don't think I can do that though, not much worth clicking on.

Does 'neg-repping' "spread it around" and qualify?
Do we need twice as many Neg-reps, since their value is only 50% ?
