hi,

i created through my administrator account a new user account. This was oke.
But when this was done on the desktop on the new useraccount had the same shortcuts as on mine account. When i remove these from the new account it also removes these from my own account. Also when i put something on my account this also appears on the other one.
I checked in the explorer under the users and i notice that the desktop on the users are empty. However on the user public i see the desktop with icons.
My questions are:
How does this happen?
and how can i fix it that with the login of the account they get their on desktop with icons?
many thanks for your reactions
p.s. sorry for any kind of mistake in my english lanquage

Did you create another administrator account or a regular/limited user account?

Anything you install on the administrator account can be installed on the regular account, but it should not be the other way around. Are you saying when you put things on/off the regular account's desktop and install programs on the regular account it also shows up on the administrator account?

Stuff stored in "Public\Desktop" will show up on all users. For individual accounts use the desktop folder in the respective user folder.
