where the cheap ebay windows 7 keys from? is it official?
I want to buy windows 7 ultimate, and there are very cheap keys in ebay. is it official?

What machine is it for? If it is an oem machine from 2017 or earlier it might already be entitled to win7, most likely pro edition.

There's a good chance that any cheap keys won't activate and M$ won't support 7 unless you pay for the extended support. Any factory sealed boxes will likely be expensive. You best bet might be to get the extended support. Those come with their own keys. Although there is a tutorial I was never able to figure out how to buy one. I don't know if you need a legit key to buy it but it wouldn't surprise me if they do. It won't however be Ultimate. If that's what you really want/need either take the chance with buying a key or look for an unopened box. Consider though that there is very little that you get from 7 Ultimate that you don't get from Pro that most people use.
