a 2000 euro Laptop will be able to play awesome games at high settings. Dont underestimate the power of the lappys... :shock:

and if he is a college student he will want to commit suicide trying to carry a desktop to class. on a side note if that were the situation i'd build a gaming computer and buy a cheap laptop, not netbook cheap but about a 15in budget model.

Agreed. Buy one lappy for class, one desktop for gaming.
