Solved Which updates to avoid?

I'm going to populate C:\WUSA directory, DISM++, KBs, and this:
DISM++x64.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\wusa\UPDATE_NAME.msu
...and try one KB WU at a time I used a utility, I think it was Snick's or yours, to bring back the normal behavior of control panel windows update. it got corrupted somehow. I think doing one WU at a time appears to be more stable. Will keep you nearby via this board
