I have a problem with C drive (partitioned to 60GB)...it is growing fast. I thought I had found the culprit...moved roaming to D drive. But in 3 days C drive has grown from 25 GB to 33 GB....so I'm still worried.
C:Users/Public has 13.5 GB
But I seem to have 3 or 4 Users..with large GB files.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? And can I change the location of USERS to my D drive where there is in excess of 400GB available?

Thanks for you help and guidance.

If you have system restore enabled that will take up ALOT of disc space. Especially if you have not lowered the amount of disc space it can use. Perhaps system restore is making restore points for each user as well. I can't be sure about that though, because I never have it enabled.

Most likely it's "System Protection" (System Restore in Vista & XP). If you go to System Properties/Advanced System Settings/System Protection tab you will be able to see how much space is dedicated to restore points and shadow copies, and adjust it if you wish. You can also delete the accumulated data using Disk Cleanup and selecting "cleanup system files". :geek:
