Why is PC showing "Win 10 update failed" over and over?

I don't want it on this PC, nor did I sign up to be notified when it is available, etc.

you should be able to go into the update control panel and choose to ignore the update.

That seems pretty poor on MS side. Surely if a person has ignored the pop up and not signed up for/reserved the upgrade for Windows 10 then MS has no business trying to automatically download/install it

Makes me worry that it will happen to my machine. I just ignore the pop up, I certainly don't want my machine automatically downloading / attempting to put Windows 10 on when I haven't reserved it
